Shiny Glass Button in Flash MX

As you know, Windows Vista’s Graphical User Interface is very shiny. You can easily notice the shines in the Progress Bars! What we’re gonna do now is to create a Shiny Aero Glass Button in Flash. First of all, we’ll have to create the Aero Glass button with photoshop. The second step is to make it shiny. This is my first flash tutorial! Good luck :)

As usual I’m gonna show you the result in the beginning:

Let’s start:

1- Press Ctrl + J to modify the document and fill the following settings:

Shiny 1

2- We will use the button image that we created in the Aero Glass Button photoshop tutorial. Press Ctrl + R to import that image to stage. Then, rename the Layer 1 to Button.

Aero 1

Why don’t you try something better than making lame comments?

Very Good! :) Maybe for mask is beter rounded rectangle - that way you can be more acurate and effect is more better, but it was very usefull for me :)
