And customer care will help you to solve the problem. I am using Linux mint 11 in my laptop and don't get any problem with audio and video drivers. Note: the path 0017 is for M1210 diffrent dell PC or Laptop may in diffrent path. Choose from 0000 to 00xx….or find the path filterrear

In rear add two new binary value as follow 1 & 2, and modify the value of 3 & 4:

1 DigitalInputMonitor = hex:01 (Add Binary Value)
2 DigitalStereoMix = hex:01 (Add Binary Value)

3 MasterControlsIndependentMixerInputs = hex:00 (Change 01 to 00)
4 EnableInputMonitor = hex:01 (Change 00 to 01)

Then Restart Your Computer….Stereo Mix is now enable….

You Can Now Record Streaming Audio from Internet! & Audacity is now supported!

Please Download & install the Latest Driver from Dell before you do this, & don’t install SB Advance MB. for some computers, they may have bad sound come out when playing CD or DVD after modified the regedit, there are two ways to solve 1. format your PC & install a clean windows XP, don’t use dell restore. 2. change your regedit back to original when you want to play CD or DVD.
